Checking a resident's temperature is on of the skills required in the CIII Aged Care course. Tympanic thermometers are now industry standard. What type of equipment do you use in Sweden?

Teaching manual handling using hoist

This is a session where we are teaching the students to use the manual handling equipment of hoist. The student is the 'resident'. Along with teaching how to use the equipment is the importance of manual handling principles. Note the bent knees and straight back.
