  1. A beautiful facility.

We work in a small campus in a medium size regional town (about 35,000 people in the town itself plus lots of surrounding villages and farms), so we don't have anything as big as that.

But we love our campus, which is big enough to have lots of diversity but small enough that we know most of the staff, and there is an excellent level of co-operation between us.

As well as Aged Care/nursing, our section teaches community services, youth work, home and community care work, disability work, drug and alcohol work etc. It is wonderful to be able to share the teachers' skills across different qualifications.

On campus we also have children's services, automotive, building and construction, fashion, general literacy and numeracy, electrical trades, fine arts, welding, IT, accountancy, business etc, which makes for lots of variety! There are always many and varied opinions. We have a great library and counselling Unit, and great support from admin workers. We all love working on our campus, but all feel very "stretched" in terms of staffing and resources - there never seems to be enough of those to meet all the demands of students and management!

  2. It looks like a really light and nice area to study in. It seems like a nice piece of art on the wall too

  3. I love the light here!. Our campus also teaches the Leisure and Health course which teaches students to provide meaningful activities programs for residents in aged care facilities as well as the community. Is there an equivalent role in Sweden??
