The teacher in the course "Medicine 1" gave the students a different examination-assignment for the part about the bones and muscles. Groupwise they were to create a quiz, game or crossword for their fellow classmates on the theme. The whole class were very active, learned a lot and had a lot of fun!
It sounds like a creative examination. Where there other examples of creativity in other school subjects?
ReplyDeleteWell, this teacher had an open mind about different methodes how the students learn. She tried to vary the way she tested the students knowledge. She also let them, in the beginning of a course, give their ideas about how they want to learn, reach the goals and beeing examed. But during my weeks at the school I did not see any more creative ways to test their knowledge.
