The student is learning how to give back massage. In the room for practical studies there is equipment like this massage stool, hospital beds and a lift for heavy patients.
I am not really sure I have an answer. I was mostly part of the adult educaion and it was in the beginning of the semester so they had no practical teaching when I was there. I was at the upper secondary school just for a day and that is where I took my photos.
In my school they tought how to give massage in the course "Alternative medicine" (for classes who started before autumn 2011). Now the course is called "Complementary medicine".
In whish school subject are they learning to give massage?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the purpose of giving massage in the education?
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask in which school year are the pupils instructed to give massage?

DeleteIt may be the course alternative medicine that has been optional in the second or third year. In Gy11 it´s called complementary medicine.
ReplyDelete: ) I did not notice your answer until I pressed the button, Helén!
DeleteYou have to look first, Marie:)
ReplyDeleteMaybe the most important reason to learn massage is to help stressed and tired colleagues at the end of the long day at work or study!
ReplyDeleteLiz, it could be scheduled :)
DeleteActually long time ago we learnt back massage on each other at my workplace fo rthe reason to massage each other, but we never do it.
