  2. I havent seen any wheelchair, but I have seen one person with a stick. But I thing it´s very good that they have made it possible for people whith disability to study.

  3. How do you manage the issue of people with injuries etc who wish to study aged care? I have one student who keeps coming back, wanting so much to study, but although I can enrol her and teach her, there are things I can't let her do because of her severe back injuries. (I think there are many things going on for her, almost an obsession to do something she is physically and emotionally incapable of doing).
I have had a student who used a wheelchair do the CIII Aged Care course, we talked about what she could and couldn't do, and the fact that she could not pass the course because she couldn't meet some of the requirements (eg assisting others to transfer, make beds etc), but she just wanted to learn the information, so we were happy to have her in the course as long as she understood that she wouldn't graduate. I think she was hoping to get work as an administrative worker in an aged care facility, so the knowledge she gained would be put to great use.
